We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Workforce Planning. This role is responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the payroll function.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for all both union and non-union employees on a bi-weekly or weekly schedule.
- Collect and verify employee information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, tax deductions, and benefits deductions.
- Respond to internal teams inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and Administrative teams to ensure seamless data integration.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar).
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines, especially during payroll processing periods.
